Essays

There's nothing worse then being handed an assignment, it couldnt get worse, but it gets worse because it is an essay.
You avoid it for as long as you can, then you realise you have less then a week to finish it
I have to write an essay on how new media has changed journalism and it's 10:20pm,

Step 1. understand the question; know what you have to do; write 600 really boring words.
Step 2. find the three points; a: new media has changed the face of journalism because blogging and podcasting have made internet users actively participate in it. b: something about traditional media and how young people these days think its boring and turn to social sites. c: i'll think of something later..... New media is so much faster to see, or if you're a journalist you can take photos at the scene, record things on your mobile (voices, videos, ect.)
Step 3. Start thinking of evidence to back your points up. Yeah bloody right... -.- this is all common knowledge to most people these days.
Step 4. Make sure to keep a dictionary/thesaurus near you at all times, this will come in handy.
Step 5: use this as your excuse to buy some new stationary =] if you're going to do it, you may as well do it in style.
Step 6: use some really big words, to make yourself sound like you spent more then a week researching and writing it. Make sure you follow correct format, and include everything you wanted to say.

and you're done.

If only it were that easy to do it now.
